Preventing Vehicle Theft
In the past twenty-four hours the Hannibal Police Department has taken three stolen vehicle reports in different areas of town. In most cases these are crimes of opportunity with keys being left inside the vehicle. Thieves are looking for anything of value which can be taken easily without drawing attention. The Hannibal Police Department is reminding citizens to remove your valuables, take your keys, and lock your vehicle. We would also like to remind citizens to report suspicious activity by calling 573-221-0987.
