On Monday, November 27th, the 10th Judicial Court of Marion County charged Katie M Bell, 33 of Hannibal, with Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Her bond was set at $50,000.00 cash only. Jason R. Link, 35 of Hannibal, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. His bond was set at $25,000.00 cash or surety. The charges stem from a search warrant that was executed by Hannibal Police Officers in the 700 block of Birch on Sunday, November 26th, for distribution of narcotics. During the search officers located substances believed to be fentanyl, methamphetamine, and items used in the distribution of narcotics. Link had a no bond felony parole warrant at the time of his arrest. Bell had several outstanding felony warrants from Pike County Illinois, Pike County Missouri and Marion County Missouri. Both remain in the Marion County Jail.
A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
