On Thursday, February 01, 2018 at around 1846 hours officers of the Hannibal Police Department responded to a report of a traffic crash involving a pedestrian on northbound US-61 just south of Market St. Witnesses reported the driver of a broken down tractor trailer was struck while standing outside the vehicle by an unknown passing motorist. The suspect vehicle left the area and continued northbound on US-61.The driver of the tractor trailer was treated on scene and eventually transported to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois for medical treatment.
