On 10/16/2022 at approximately 10:16 am officers of the Hannibal Police Department were dispatched to a two vehicle traffic crash involving injury at S. Hawkins and Carroll St. It was found a 2013 Dodge van, driven by a 79 year old female of Palmyra, MO, was traveling south on S. Hawkins when it was passed by a small motorcycle, driven by a 43 year old male of Hannibal, MO, and a collision occurred. Due to injury, the driver of the motorcycle was transported to the Hannibal Regional Hospital by ambulance. The Hannibal Police Department is conducting an investigation into this matter. The Hannibal Police Department was assisted by the Hannibal Fire Department as well as the Marion County Ambulance District.
A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
