On December 6, 2020 at approximately 12:49 pm Hannibal Police, Hannibal Fire, and Marion County EMS were dispatched to a two vehicle wreck on Hwy 36 east of Shinn Lane. There was one confirmed fatality in the incident and Missouri State Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation. Hwy 36 westbound traffic will be closed between Veterans Rd and Shinn Lane during the investigation. Hannibal Police were assisted by Marion and Ralls County Sheriff Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol.
