Officers Arrest Male After Shots Fired Call
On Sunday 12/29/2019, at approximately 04:52 am Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Hazel Street for a report of shots fired. Officers arrived and learned multiple rounds were fired in the area. Officers arrested a male subject, Donald R. Selmon (59) of Hannibal for Unlawful Use of a Weapon and transported him to the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold. A warrant was later issued in the Circuit Court of Marion County charging Selmon with Unlawful Use of a Weapon and bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety. Selmon later posted bond and was released.
