At approximately 12:23a.m. Officers with the Hannibal Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Martin for a report of gunshots being fired. When Officers arrived on scene they located evidence indicating a gun had been fired. Officers were told the victim had been transported from the area to Hannibal Regional Hospital by a private citizen. Officers went to the hospital and contacted a male who had been shot. The gunshot wound did not appear to be life threatening. The investigation is ongoing and further details will be released if deemed appropriate.
