Officers of the Hannibal Police Department (HPD) conducted fifteen (15) on site alcohol sale compliance checks at local businesses Wednesday (November 9) evening in a continued effort to reduce the availability of alcoholic beverages to minors. Of the fifteen (15) businesses checked for compliance, eleven (11) were found to be in compliance. Thus far in 2011 the Hannibal Police Department has conducted a combined total of Fifty Eight (58) compliance checks at various businesses in Hannibal and found only fourteen (14) that were non-compliant which represents a 76% compliance rate.
