The Hannibal Police Departments investigation into the Sunday morning physical altercation at Ole Milts bar is ongoing. More information will be released when appropriate. All inquiries as to the condition of the injured New London man should be referred to the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
*** ORIGINAL RELEASE***
At 01:19 a.m. Sunday morning, officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to Ole Milts bar, in the 200 block of S. Main in regards to a fight in progress. Upon their arrival they found a 52 year old New London man suffering from injuries received during the altercation. Officers arrested a 30 year old Moscow Mills man, who was later released to the Marion County Sheriff’s department on a 24 hour hold, pending issuance of warrants. The injured man was transported the Hannibal Regional Hospital and later transferred to Blessing Hospital in Quincy IL. This matter remains under investigation and more information will be released when appropriate.
