Two Hannibal residents were arrested January 30th on warrants issued by the Circuit Court of Marion County for Distribution of a Controlled Substance. Cecil Williams (42 of Hannibal) was arrested by Hannibal Police Department officer. Daffney Sexton (19 of Hannibal) was arrested by a Marion County Sheriffs Deputy. The arrests are a result of investigations conducted the Hannibal Police Department Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad (ACES). Williams is charged with Distribution of Prescription Drugs. Sexton is charged with Distribution of Methamphetamine. Both were placed in the Marion County jail with bonds set at $100,000.00 cash only.
