Friday evening (October 10th) an officer of the Hannibal Police Department made an investigative stop of a vehicle in the 900 block of Broadway. After receiving consent to search the vehicle, the officer located and seized what is believed to be marijuana, heroin and prescription pills. David A. Mayfield (22) of Hannibal was arrested and placed on a 24 hour hold at the Marion County Jail. On October 11th, a warrant was issued in the Circuit Court of Marion County, charging Mayfield with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. Mayfield remains in the Marion County Jail on a $100,000.00 cash only bond.
