On Friday, February 26th, at approximately 12:38 pm an officer was in the area of 4000 Market Street and witnessed a physical altercation taking place. Bucky W. Gollaher, 28 of Center MO, physically assaulted another male that caused obvious physical injuries. Gollaher was taken into custody without incident. He was taken to the Marion County Jail and placed on a twenty four hour hold pending formal charges.
On Saturday, February 27th, the 10th Judicial Circuit of Marion County issued a citation for Gollaher charging him with First Degree Assault. His bond was set at $25,000.00 cash or surety. Gollaher posted bond and was released. The victim refused medical treatment on scene.
