On Tuesday April 24, 2018, Officers with the Hannibal Police Department assigned to the Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad (ACES) executed a search warrant at 1812 Broadway in Hannibal. Large amount of a substance testing positive for Methamphetamine was seized from the residence along with numerous items of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of substance believed to be Heroin. The following subjects were arrested as a result of the investigation;
- Christie L Cox, age 31 of Hannibal, Distribution of methamphetamine, Unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, Possession of heroin.
- Shawna A Brothers, 22 of Hannibal, Distribution of methamphetamine, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
- Jessy A Brown, 27 of Hannibal, Distribution of methamphetamine, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, probation violation warrant.
- Sean M Gibbons, age 32 of Hannibal, Possession of a controlled substance, probation violation warrant.
Cox and Brothers were placed on 24-hour holds at the Marion County Jail pending formal review by the Marion County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Brown and Gibbons were held on probation warrants and further charges submitted for formal review.
