On Monday, December 18th 2017, Hannibal Police Officers assigned to the Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad (ACES) executed a search warrant in the 3600 block of St. Charles Street in Hannibal. The search warrant was a result of an investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine near a school. During the search, a substance believed to be methamphetamine was located. As a result of the investigation Seth Richardson (39) of Hannibal, was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance in a protected area, possession of a controlled substance (felony), possession of a controlled substance (misdemeanor), and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Richardson was transported to the Marion County Jail and placed a 24 hour hold pending review by Marion County Prosecutor David Clayton. Also arrested were Joshua Allison (38), and Charlie Hull (37) for possession of marijuana, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Both Allison and Hull were released pending court appearances in Hannibal Municipal Court.
