On Friday a warrant was issued for Christopher L. Davis charging him with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. His bond is set at $50,000.00 cash or surety. Davis remains in the Marion County Jail.
****ORIGINAL RELEASE****
On Thursday morning Hannibal Police Detectives assigned to the Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad (ACES) executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Willow Street. The search warrant is a result from an ongoing narcotics investigation. During the search substances believed to be methamphetamine, ecstasy, heroin, marijuana, and prescription pills were located along with a firearm. The following subjects were taken into custody as a result of the investigation:

Unlawful use of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of a Controlled Substance
Kristopher R Gowen (31 of Hannibal) Possession of a Controlled Substance
Unlawful use of Drug Paraphernalia
Benjamin C Mitchell (27 of Hannibal) Possession of a Controlled Substance (Felony)
Possession of a Controlled Substance
Unlawful use of Drug Paraphernalia
Emily E Smashey (18 of Hannibal) Possession of a Controlled Substance (Felony)
Possession of a Controlled Substance
Christopher L Davis (30 of Hannibal) Possession of a Controlled Substance (Felony)
Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (Felony)
Unlawful Use of a Weapon (Felony)
Distribution of a Controlled Substance (Felony)
All subjects were released pending filing of formal charges, except Davis who was placed on a 24 hour hold.
