On Tuesday evening, Officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to the 200 block of Munger Lane in regards to a subject throwing gasoline on an apartment building. When Officers arrived on scene the subject was gone and the Hannibal Fire Department was called to decontaminate the area. Witnesses advised officers that 31 year old Raheem R. Oliver of Hannibal had gone to the apartment building in an attempt to collect money from another subject. When Oliver was unable to collect the money, he threw gasoline on the apartment door and attempted to light it. Oliver was located and arrested at another location without incident. He was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Marion County Jail on charges of Attempted Arson, Trespass and Interfering with Arrest.
