Warrants were issued by the Circuit Court of Marion County on January 21st charging Davion S Tate and Will A Sewell with Stealing (D Felony) for their involvement in the Sunday night shooting incident. Tate and Sewell bonds have been set at $50,000.00 cash only. This investigation is ongoing and more charges are pending.
***UPDATE (1)***
Four suspects have been placed on 24 hour holds in connection to the Sunday night report of robbery. Will A Sewell (20 of Hannibal) and Davion S Tate (19 of Hannibal) were placed on 24 hour holds for Robbery 2nd Degree. Noah J Zahn (20 of Hannibal) was placed on a 24 hour hold for Assault 1st Degree. Sewell, Tate and Zahn are being held in the Marion County Jail pending prosecutor review. A 15 year old male juvenile was also charged with Assault 1st Degree and is being held in juvenile detention. The Hannibal Police Department was assisted in this investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. This investigation is ongoing with further arrests pending.
***ORIGINAL RELEASE***
At 8:29 p.m. Sunday night, officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to the area of 4th St and Hill St for a report of a robbery and possible shots fired. Officers later located and detained four subjects a short distance from the scene. Two of the subjects were transported to area hospitals for injuries. The other two subjects were taken into custody and transported to the police department. This is an ongoing investigation. More information will be released at a later time.
