Property Damage (Graffiti) Arrest Made
Hannibal Police Officers arrested 32 year old Cory J Cyr, of Hannibal, Monday afternoon on charges of Felony Property Damage. The charges stem from an investigation into property being spray painted (tagged) throughout Hannibal with “Beast, ETS” and other similar markings. The arrest culminates 15 reported incidents with numerous victims, including The City of Hannibal Street and Parks Depts, MoDot, The Board of Public Works and several private properties. Cyr was placed in the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold pending prosecutor review. Cyr was also arrested on an outstanding Municipal warrant for Failure to Comply with Court Orders. This investigation is ongoing and further information will be released when appropriate.
