On Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 8:07 p.m. officers responded to the 300 block of South US 61 for an accident. A vehicle traveling South near Wendy’s struck a pedestrian crossing the highway. The pedestrian, a 27 year old Hannibal female, sustained severe injuries and was taken by ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital. The female was then flown to the University of Columbia. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
