Officers were dispatched to the intersection of US 61 and MO 168 due to an accident involving injury. It was found a northbound 2007 Chevy Impala driven by an 83 year old Monroe City man turned into the path of a northbound 2007 Freightliner driven by a 61 year old Monticello, IA man. The driver of the Impala was transported by ambulance to the Hannibal Regional Hospital. There was an 80 year old female passenger in the Impala who did not report any injuries. This matter is pending investigation.
