On Thursday, August 03, 2017 an officer with the Hannibal Police Department observed a vehicle whose occupants he believed to have active arrest warrants. The officer located the vehicle parked in the 200 block of N 10th and both occupants were no longer in the car. The officer contacted Sonny Vincent (31 Middltown, MO), near the vehicle. Vincent had an active warrant through Pike County, MO and was arrested. While searching Vincent, a firearm was located in his pocket. After a brief investigation, it was determined the other occupant, Lance Moore, (25 from Hannibal), was inside an apartment by himself. Officers received consent to enter the apartment. Officers entered the apartment after giving multiple commands for him to come outside which he refused. Moore was located and arrested for two outstanding arrest warrants. Vincent was transported to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department for an active Pike County, MO warrant for possession of amphetamine. Charges will also be submitted on Vincent to the Marion County Prosecutor for possession a firearm as a felon. Moore was transported to the same facility for two outstanding Marion County warrants; one for possession of marijuana and one for a weapons offense. An additional charge will be submitted on Moore for resisting arrest.
