Two Subjects Arrested on Drug Charges

On Monday 3/06/2017 at 5:10pm, Hannibal police officers assigned to the anti-crime enforcement squad (ACES), conducted a traffic stop on Bird at 10^th Street for a license violation. During the course of the traffic stop Officers were able to locate what is believed to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on the driver, Brent Edmond. The vehicle was searched and methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were located. The following subjects were arrested as a result of the investigation:

Brent Edmond (35) of Taylor MO: Marion County warrant for larceny, possession of controlled substance (felony), and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia (felony).

Katie Snyder (34) of Columbia MO: Possession of a controlled substance (felony), possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor), and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia (felony).

Edmond posted bond and was released, and Snyder was released pending review by the Marion County Prosecutor.
