On Friday night at approximately 11:31 p.m. Officers of the Hannibal Police Department were on foot patrol in the 2200 block of Market St. and made contact with two subjects sitting in a car in the parking lot of a local business. Officers observed what they believed to be marijuana in the front seat of the vehicle. After a consensual search of the vehicle, a small amount of what is believed to be marijuana and a small amount of synthetic marijuana was located. Both subjects, 32 year old Randy E. Holder and 19 year old Christian S. Dade, both of Quincy IL were arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both subjects were released pending warrants.
A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
