Officers of the Hannibal Police Department Narcotics Unit received information Tuesday morning that a female subject with an active city warrant was possibly manufacturing methamphetamine at a hotel in the 3600 block of McMasters Ave. Officers contacted the female, 34 year old Jami Lynn Schneider and 39 year old Robert E. Harris, both of Hannibal and arrested both subjects on active warrants. During the course of the arrest officers discovered equipment and chemicals used in the manufacture of methamphetamine in the hotel room. Harris and Schneider were charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine and placed on 24 hour holds in the Marion County Jail pending warrants.
A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
