Officers of the Hannibal Police Department Special Response Team executed two search warrants at separate residences within 15 minutes of each other Thursday (09/20/12) night. The first search warrant was served in the 300 block of S. Griffith. The second was served at a residence in the 1800 block of Hope St. During the course of entering the second residence, a suspect, 37 year old Patrick D. Brown, of Hannibal, jumped out of a window and fled on foot. After a short pursuit, Brown was apprehended and arrested. Brown was charged with Resisting Arrest, Possession of a controlled Substance and an Illinois warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Also arrested was 32 year old Bianca S. Owens, of Hannibal. Owens was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. As a result of the searches, officers located substances believed to be Heroin, Marijuana and Crack Cocaine. Both Brown and Owens were placed in the Marion County Jail pending warrants. The two search warrants were a result of investigations conducted by the Hannibal Police Department Narcotics Division.
