On Wednesday 08/10/2016 at 13:43 officers assigned to the Hannibal Police Department Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad (ACES) were patrolling the 1800 block of Hope. Officers observed a male they knew to be Curtis J Warner (22 of Hannibal), who was wanted for questioning for a domestic assault. When Warner saw the officers approaching, he fled from a vehicle on foot. Warner was apprehended after a short foot pursuit and resisted arrest. During the incident Warner assaulted an officer who sustained minor injuries which did not require medical treatment. As officers were attempting to subdue Warner, his wife, Sandra D Warner, (28 of Hannibal) charged at officers. Sandra was arrested for physical resist arrest and released on a summons. Curtis was placed on a 24 hour hold for assault on law enforcement officer, resist arrest, domestic assault, and was arrested on a municipal warrant.
