Officers of the Hannibal Police Department stopped a vehicle in the 4000 block of Market St, Thursday afternoon, after recognizing a passenger in the vehicle as someone with an active warrant. The passenger 20 year old Doris E. Williams, of Hannibal, was arrested on a Probation Warrant. During the course of the arrest, officers located a small baggie containing what is believed to be heroin, several syringes, capsules containing what is believed to be heroin and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Also arrested were 25 year old Kevin O. Lee of Columbia, Mo, for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving while Intoxicated (Drugs) and 22 year old Sarah E. Sheets of Columbia, Mo for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Williams was released to the Marion County Jail. A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
