The two occupants of the vehicle are identified as 20 year old Christopher D. Curry and 20 year old Jordan T. Taylor, both of Hannibal. There have been no updates as to the health of either occupant involved in the crash.

***Original Release***

On Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 9:22p.m. the Hannibal Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle overturned on Highway 36 westbound near the Highway 61 off ramp. Officer’s arriving found a burgundy 2002 Grand Prix Pontiac which had overturned and the two male occupants who had been ejected from the vehicle. The driver and passenger, both of Hannibal, were transported by Marion County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital due to injuries. Both where later air evacuated due to the injuries sustained to a level one trauma center. The Hannibal Police Department was assisted by Missouri State Highway Patrol with the accident investigation at the scene, emergency and investigative personal were on the accident scene for over three hours.

Investigation into the accident continues.
