Over the past eight (8) days, the Hannibal Police Department has taken several reports of items, ranging from a hand gun to a laptop computer, being stolen from unlocked vehicles. The thefts, which display the same general pattern, have occurred in the 2300 block of Palmyra Rd, 100 block of Central, 300 block of N. 5th and the 700 block of Cedar Creek. The Hannibal Police Department would like to remind everyone to remove all valuable items from their vehicles and to make sure your vehicle is locked at night.
A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
