On Thursday (February 9th) morning Officers of the Hannibal Police Department went to a residence in the 1200 block of Center St in an attempt to locate a subject with active Marion County warrants. Officers received permission to search the residence for the subject. During the course of the search, the subject, 40 year old Robert E. Harris of Hannibal, was located hiding in the basement. Also hiding in the basement was 21 year old Jesse G. James, of Hannibal. James had an active municipal warrant and was arrested. Officer received consent to search the residence and vehicles for illegal items and located several items commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. 34 year old Jamie L. Schneider, of Hannibal, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 33 year old Tina L. Smith, of Hannibal, was arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Manufacturing a Controlled Substance. Schneider and Smith were released to the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour holds.
