Stolen Gun Recovered and Drugs Seized

On Tuesday, February 16th, at approximately 2:44 pm officers assigned to the Anti-Crime Enforcement Unit (ACES) saw a male standing near the intersection of Hope St. and S. Levering. The male was seen with a backpack which he attempted to conceal in a nearby vehicle as the ACES approached. The male identified as Nathaniel C. Mueller, 19 of Frankford, allowed the ACES to search him. He was in possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia. Mueller allowed the ACES to search his vehicle where the backpack was located. The ACES located a large amount of marijuana and materials associated with drug distribution. A handgun was also recovered which was reported stolen from Florissant Missouri. Mueller was taken into custody and placed on a twenty-four hour hold pending formal charges.

On Wednesday, February 17th, the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County issued a warrant for Mueller charging him with Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Receiving Stolen Property, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. His bond was set at $25,000.00. Mueller remains in the Marion County Jail.
