At approximately 1 am on Sunday morning, officers of the Hannibal Police Department took a report of a stolen car from the 200 Block of Broadway.   It was reported to officers that the victim’s car had been parked behind a business in that block with the keys left inside and when the owner returned to retrieve the car it was reported missing.  Officers on the scene conducted an investigation which later resulted in the vehicle being recovered near the cemetery at Summer and Section Street and the arrest of two suspects Sunday evening.  Arrested in connection with the theft were Dalton R Culp 18, of Hannibal, he was arrested for Tampering 1st degree (felony) Receiving Stolen Property (felony) and Theft Felony, he was placed on a 24 hour hold and taken to the Marion County Jail.  On Monday August 15th a criminal arrest warrant was issued on Dalton Culp charging him with (1) count of Tampering in the first degree, his bond was set at 25,000.00 dollars cash only.  The other suspect Cory L. Culp 17, of Hannibal was arrested for (1) count of Tampering second degree he was released pending the issuance of warrants.  

A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
