****UPDATE****
On Friday, July 23rd, at approximately 11:17 a.m. officers responded to the 1100 block of Valley St. for a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle had been crashed in Ralls County and the driver fled the scene. Ralls County Deputies located a person in the area matching the description of the subject who stole the vehicle. The person was identified as Adrian Miller, 24 of Hannibal. Miller was in possession of a stolen firearm. Upon further investigation it was determined Miller was involved in the shooting from Thursday. Miller was taken to the Marion County Jail and placed on a twenty-four hour hold pending formal charges. A warrant was issued by the 10th Judicial Circuit of Marion County charging Miller with First Degree Assault, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Stealing a Motor Vehicle, and Frist Degree Burglary. His bond was set at $100,000.00 cash only. Miller remains in the Marion County Jail. The Hannibal Police Department was assisted by the Ralls County Sheriff’s Department, Marion County Sheriff’s Department, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
****ORIGINAL RELEASE****
On Thursday, July 22nd, at approximately 1:42a.m. officers with the Hannibal Police Department responded to the 800 block of Hazel for a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival officers located a male in his twenties who had suffered a gunshot wound. The suspect was no longer on scene. The male was transported to an area hospital for treatment and is in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when deemed appropriate.
