The 10th Judicial Circuit of Marion County issued warrants for Johnny L. Ricks, 46 and Antone J. Hoskins, 39 both of Hannibal, for their involvement in a shooting that occurred in the 1900 block of Market St. on Sunday, October 10th at approximately 9:15 p.m.. When officers arrived at the incident they located an unoccupied vehicle that had been shot multiple times by an unidentified male who fled from the scene wearing a dark hoodie. Ricks the owner of the vehicle, was located near the area and arrested after he was stopped in another vehicle he was a passenger in.  Ricks was found to be a convicted felon and was in possession of a firearm. He was arrested and later taken to the Marion County Jail. On Monday, October 11th Hannibal detectives obtained further information and executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1900 block of Chestnut were Hoskins was known to reside. A firearm was recovered from a vehicle Hoskins had been operating. Hoskins, a convicted felon, was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail. Ricks was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and his bond was set at $25,000.00 cash or surety. Hoskins was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Tampering with Physical Evidence in Felony Prosecution and his bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety.  The investigation into this incident continues.
