An arrest warrant was issued today from the 10th Judicial Circuit Court in Marion County for Lynn M. Banton, 58 of 517 Euclid in Hannibal . Banton was charged with Manufacture/Produce a controlled substance a class B felony. Bond was set at: $100,000

On Thursday afternoon Hannibal officers executed a search warrant at 517 Euclid Avenue and recovered 27 marijuana plants along with equipment and chemicals commonly used in the cultivation of marijuana. In addition officers located and seized in excess of a 100 grams of finished marijuana, drug paraphernalia and several firearms. A male resident was taken into custody at the scene who was identified as a 58 year old Hannibal man. The male resident was transported to the Marion Sheriff Department where he is being held on a 24-hour hold pending issuance of arrest warrants. The search warrant was as a result of a investigation by Hannibal Police detectives assigned to narcotic investigations
