On Friday, June 6th, the 10th Judicial District Circuit Court of Marion County issued a warrant on Jeffrey S. Elliott, 37 of Hannibal, for Delivery of a Controlled Substance. The warrant is the result of a search warrant that was executed on Thursday, June 5th in the 2700 block of Woodson St. After an extensive investigation, detectives secured a search warrant for the premises. Elliott and several other subjects were detained at the door. During the search a substance believed to be methamphetamine and items consistent with the sale of narcotics. Elliott was taken to the Marion County Jail where he remains. His bond was set at $100,000.00 cash only. The Hannibal Police Department was assisted by Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Northeast MO Task Force.
A criminal charge is merely an allegation, and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
