On Thursday, September 1st, at approximately 8:37 a.m. the Special Response Team (SRT) executed a search warrant for narcotics in the 2100 block of Gordon. The search warrant is a result of an ongoing drug investigation conducted by the Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad (ACES). Narcotics believed to be methamphetamine and marijuana were seized. A female was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending prosecutor review. More information will be released at a later time if deemed appropriate.
A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
