On Wednesday and Thursday, November 9th and 10th, Hannibal Police Officers assigned to the Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad (ACES), conducted investigations into prostitution. On 11/09/2016, an undercover police officer made contact with Shaienne Lewis (22) of Hannibal, outside a residence in the 1000 block of North 6th Street. Lewis was arrested for prostitution and during the course of her arrest a small bag containing a substance believed to be methamphetamine was located. Lewis was released pending review by the Marion County Prosecutor for prostitution, and possession of a controlled substance. On 11/09/2016, an undercover police officer made contact with Jammie Conners (32) of Quincy, at Huckleberry Park. Conners was arrested for prostitution and while being arrested, a male associate, Michael Gay (37) of Quincy, was located in the area. During the course of the investigation Gay was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Gay was released on a city summons while Conners was released pending review by the Marion County Prosecutor for prostitution. On Thursday 11/10/2016, an undercover officer made contact with Christina Ratliff (37), of Hannibal, at a business in the 3600 block of Stardust. As a result of the investigation Ratliff was arrested for prostitution and was later released pending review by the Marion County Prosecutor.
