On Thursday April 16, 2026 at approximately 1:14pm Hannibal Police received multiple calls of a male running out into traffic and striking cars with his hand in the 3800 block of McMasters. Officers located 33 year old Kelvin McPike in the roadway blocking traffic and refusing to move. Kelvin was taken into custody and began striking his head on the patrol car while being searched. Kelvin was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Marion County Jail. On April 17, 2026 a warrant was issued out of the 10th Judicial Circuit of Marion County charging McPike with Peace Disturbance and Property Damage. McPike’s bond was set at $1,500 cash or surety.
A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
