On Tuesday, December 13th, Hannibal Police Officers arrested 19 year old Danielle L. Slavin, of Palmyra, on charges of Forgery. The arrest is the result of an investigation stemming from a December 10th report of an individual’s checks being stolen and then cashed at several local businesses. Slavin was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Marion County Jail pending warrants.
A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
