At 12:22 a.m. Thursday morning, officers with the Hannibal Police Department were called to the 2300 block of Broadway for a report of gun shots. When officers arrived, they located a 35 year old male victim with gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the Hannibal Regional Hospital by Marion County Ambulance, where he later succumbed to his injuries. . This incident remains under investigation and more information may be released if appropriate.
