On Monday, December 14th, the window on a door at Oakwood Elementary School was damaged between the hours of 3:45pm and 4:18pm. Damage was caused to another window sometime late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, and three more windows were damaged sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. All the damage appears to be caused by rocks or a BB/pellet gun and occurred during times school was not in session. The Hannibal Police Department and the Hannibal Public School District is asking for assistance from the public in identifying who is responsible. At this time, there is no evidence to suggest any danger to the public or students at Oakwood Elementary. Please contact the Hannibal Police Department or the Hannibal Public School District Central Office with any information you believe could assist in this investigation.
