Officers have confirmed the juvenile has returned safely and is back with his family at this time.

The Hannibal Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in attempting to locate a missing 12 year old boy. He apparently walked away from his residence shortly after 1pm this afternoon, in the 2000 block of Broadway in an unknown direction. He is described as a w/m, 12 years old approximately 4 foot 8 inches weighing 106 lbs blond hair cut in a buzz cut and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a multi-colored tie dyed shirt, red shorts with white stripes down the sides and grey and blue tennis shoes. No foul play is suspected as the child has done this in the past. The boy does not speak. If anyone sees a child matching this description they are asked to call the police department at 573-221-0987.
