On Friday, May 16th, 2025, at approximately 10:31pm officers with the Hannibal Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of North Main for a fight in progress. The preliminary investigation indicates an argument began while two males were walking along North Main Street. From the argument and physical fight ensued between them. One male did not require treatment and the other was initially transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital then transferred to a hospital in the St. Louis area. The male is in stable condition, and the investigation is ongoing. More information will be released later when deemed appropriate.
