Officers of the Hannibal Police Department were dispatched to the 2900 block of Market St Thursday morning in regard to a one vehicle accident. Just prior to the accident, the vehicle was stolen from the 3500 block of Market St. The vehicle was traveling east on Market at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle then came to rest on its side. After being extracted from the vehicle by the Hannibal Fire Department, the driver was transported to the Hannibal Regional Hospital by Marion County Ambulance.
