A warrant was issued in the 10th Judicial Circuit Court on George T. Lamberson April 6, 2011, for Producing or Attempting to Produce a Controlled Substance. (Class B Felony) Bond was set at $100,000.00 cash only. Lamberson remains in the Marion County Jail.
***ORIGINAL RELEASE***
On Tuesday evening Officers and Drug Detectives of the Hannibal Police Department were conducting a follow up investigation concerning the recent house fire in the 900 block of Park Ave. Drug Detectives had received information that the resident from the house fire was attempting to manufacture methamphetamine in a house in the 800 block of Park Ave. Officers gained access to the residence and discovered the subject, 45 year old George Truman Lamberson of Hannibal, in the process of assembling a lab to manufacture methamphetamine. Lamberson was taken into custody without incident and several items used in the manufacture of meth were seized. Lamberson was charged with Manufacture of a Controlled Substance and placed on a 24 hour hold in the Marion County Jail.
