On Sunday, October 22nd, officers of the Hannibal Police Department were called to the 100 block of N Maple Ave to assist with Hannibal Fire Department with a structure fire. When officers arrived on scene, a witness advised officers, he had seen a juvenile running from the structure and stating he had set the fire. Officers located and arrested two 12 year old Hannibal youths at the scene. The juveniles were transported to the police department and questioned by detectives and a Juvenile officer. One juvenile was released to the Juvenile Officer and transported to detention. The other juvenile was released to his parents.
