****Update****

Detectives are continuing to investigate the July 20^th disturbance from Settlers Trail. At this time detectives have no evidence to confirm a firearm was discharged, or that anyone was a victim of a gunshot wound. Once the investigation is complete the case will be sent to the Marion County Prosecutor for review.

 

****Original Release****

On Saturday July 20^th 2019, Hannibal Police Officers were dispatched to a residence on Settlers Trail for a disturbance. Officers were able to learn that a physical altercation occurred and two subjects were transported by private vehicle to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. It was initially reported that a firearm was discharged; however at this time officers have been unable to substantiate that claim. This investigation is ongoing and more information may be released at a later time.
