Hannibal officers were called to the entrance of the Hannibal Regional Hospital (HRH) ER at 10:22 am in reference to an adult female seated in a parked car under the canopy. According to HRH personnel the female had stated she had a gun and threatened to shoot them as they approached the vehicle. HPD officers secured the area immediately near the ER and in approximately 30 minutes after it was first reported the female subject was taken into custody without incident. No one was injured during this incident and no firearm was located on the female or in the vehicle.
