Starting on Wednesday May 15th and on into the weekend Hannibal officers have arrested numerous subjects for their involvement in illegal narcotic activities resulting from a several month investigation by Hannibal Police detectives assigned to narcotic investigations. A total of 21 individuals were either served with arrest warrants or arrested related to their illegal drug activities within the city limits of Hannibal. This investigation involved charges for drugs ranging from heroin, methamphetamine, LSD, powder cocaine, “Crack” cocaine, shrooms (hallucinogenic mushrooms), and marijuana. The majority of those arrested were for charges of distribution or delivery of a controlled substance. Four additional suspects are being sought as part of this investigation.
